The Long Garden
Hills Circle of Friends main fundraiser for 2018,
“The Long Garden”, is part of the Open Gardens SA inc 2018 Spring-Summer season.
Open all weekend:
October 27th and 28th
10am – 4.30pm
Open Gardens South Australia present The Long Garden – a two-acre property on the banks of the Sturt River in Coromandel Valley.
In Autumn 2017, The Long Garden was host to their first Open Gardens SA event, which was also an extremely successful fundraiser for Hills Circle of Friends, raising over $5000 to directly support refugees in detention and living in our community.
Barry and Christine Long invite you into their garden once again for a weekend wander, this time amongst Spring flowers, tall shady trees, shrubs, ground-covers and ferns all on the banks of the river.
Enjoy a glass of wine from Adelaide’s Norton Summit Vineyards, coffee, tea, home-made biscuits, cakes and savouries, whilst listening to live music under the dappled canopy of the huge, old oak tree.
There will also be plant and produce sales and raffle prizes drawn throughout.
Take this opportunity to sit and stay awhile, enjoy the music and wine and spend part of your weekend with us at The Long Garden.
General entry to the garden is $8 and $6 for those with a Commonwealth Government Pensioner Concession Card or Health Care Card which must be shown at the gate. Children Under 18 are free.
